Laboratory Analyst

Actalent is seeking a skilled Oil and Gas Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various chemical and physical tests on gasoline, diesel, and crude oil.

• Conduct 3rd party testing on gasoline, diesel, and crude oil, adhering to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods or accepted industry standards.
• Record data on appropriate data sheets and report results to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain quality records, control charts, and lab supply inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
• Participate in cross-training as needed.

• At least 1 year of experience working with oil, gas, chemicals, or wet chemistry.
• At least 1 year of experience as a laboratory technician.
• Ability to work shift and stand for 8 hour shifts.
