Job Summary

The California Central Probation and Pretrial Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Probation Officer - Federal Law Enforcement Position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cases and providing support to individuals on probation or pretrial release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases and provide support to individuals on probation or pretrial release
  • Conduct regular check-ins and assessments to ensure compliance with court orders
  • Develop and implement case plans to promote rehabilitation and reduce recidivism
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure public safety

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States
  • Must be under age 37 and in good health/physical condition
  • BA/BS in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field desired
  • Minimum 2+ years case management experience preferred

Benefits:

  • Total compensation with employer paid benefits approximate range: $98,537 to $223,005
  • Generous accrual of paid time vacation and sick leave and 11 paid holidays per year
  • Eligible for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program on eligible student loans
