We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Hospice to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care and services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical management of our hospice program, ensuring the effective and efficient use of all resources in carrying out our organization's purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Program Leadership: Direct the hospice program through management of Clinical Managers and support staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage program administration, planning, supervision, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Manage day-to-day compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements, ensuring our program meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Human Resources: Establish functions and qualifications for all personnel in collaboration with the Executive Director, ensuring we have the right talent and skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Resource Stewardship: Responsible for the stewardship of resources, ensuring we meet our budget and deliver value to our patients and stakeholders.
- Community Engagement: Represent our organization in the community, building relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote our services and support.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field; or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience: 3 years of supervisory experience in a home health agency, hospice, or related health program; 2 years of RN experience in Hospice.
- Certifications: California Registered Nurse License (Vendor Managed); Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) (preferred).
