Position Overview
Christian Home Healthcare Corp. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is also a licensed driver to enhance our internal nursing department.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene needs, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Helping clients manage their prescribed medications and providing support with mobility.
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
  • Facilitating physical therapy exercises as directed.
  • Accompanying clients on shopping trips or outings, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Reporting any unusual occurrences and responding appropriately in emergencies.
  • Engaging clients in activities that promote daily living skills.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A passion for working in a one-on-one care setting and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • The physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
  • A compassionate and supportive demeanor.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, along with a valid CNA license.
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts (specific to client needs).

Additional Information
This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the possibility of nights and weekends. The CNA will work closely with the nursing department to ensure timely visits and high-quality care for all clients.
