About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Coordinator to join our Public Works team in Wilsonville, OR. This is a full-time position that requires an Associate's degree in a closely related field and two years of relevant experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the City's Industrial Pretreatment Program and Cross Connection/Backflow Program. This includes reviewing applications, scheduling inspections, performing compliance monitoring, and investigating unusual changes in wastewater treatment plant influent.

You will work closely with industrial and commercial customers to ensure their discharge control systems are permitted and functioning properly. You will also work with the community to increase awareness and gain compliance with the City's and State's regulatory requirements.

This is a journey-level, specialized class that independently performs a wide variety of environmental compliance duties. Responsibilities include performing diverse, specialized, and complex work involving significant accountability and decision-making responsibility.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to interpret laboratory reports and data, evaluate new construction plans, and present materials to State, local, and public officials.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and long term disability plans.
