Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising government clients on the formulation and enhancement of acquisition strategies for prototypes while ensuring that external stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
  • Monitoring the current status of cost, performance, and schedule for Integrated Fires Protection Capability - High Energy Laser and High-Powered Microwave initiatives.
  • Utilizing the commander's intent and guidance to convey a clear message from this office to external stakeholders regarding all aspects impacting program execution.
  • Participating in organizational meetings, capturing and assessing action items, and engaging in the resolution process; proposing responses to inquiries based on assigned actions. Preparing notes or after-action summaries, tracking action items, and recommending closure responses.
  • Assisting with daily office functions and prioritizing events based on known activities or provided guidance, including the synchronization and integration of events for RCCTO through information coordination and collaboration.
  • Managing the operations calendar and offering recommendations to address issues or conflicts; coordinating impacts and changes, and receiving direction from senior operations specialists for non-routine matters.
  • Drafting, consolidating, and reviewing documentation such as correspondence, briefings, and responses to inquiries for accuracy, format, spelling, and grammar prior to submission for approval or signature. Composing responses to internal and external requests.
  • Supporting program updates and assisting in the creation of executive-level briefings, which include accomplishments, impacts, risks, issues, and challenges; coordinating documents and conducting pre-meetings to prepare and distribute read-ahead materials.
  • Collaborating with and briefing senior leadership within the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office, the Army, and other Service Partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • An active federal SECRET security clearance.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • DAU Project Manager (PM) Level II or Practitioner certification.
  • Experience in developing information papers and decision briefings.
  • Experience in managing mission/information demands for executive members of the Army or DoD staff.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • DAU PM Level III or Advanced certification.
  • Previous experience as a Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC).
  • Experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Assistant Project Manager (APM).
  • Familiarity with DOD 5000 and JCIDS processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with the Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA).

Estimated Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
