Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Oncology for a travel nursing opportunity.

The Oncology Infusion RN will be an integral part of the cancer care team, working in the Infusion area. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in chemotherapy administration and familiarity with EPIC systems. The role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, and requires the ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification.

The responsibilities include:

  • Conducting health history assessments
  • Implementing physician orders and in-office procedures
  • Providing patient and family education
  • Administering chemotherapy and managing cancer symptoms
  • Monitoring patients through regular visits, focusing on both physical and emotional well-being
  • Facilitating communication between patients and physicians
  • Delivering direct nursing care and triaging patient needs

The oncology registered nurse will utilize clinical expertise, judgment, and decision-making skills to address patient care issues, along with additional tasks assigned by the Cancer Care Director or Physician Services Senior Executive.
