Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a provider.
  • Perform select clinical duties, including vital sign measurements and recording patient information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Assist with basic clerical duties, including answering phone calls and maintaining records.
  • Perform basic materials management functions, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Medical Assistant certification required prior to hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Women's Health, L&D, or OBGYN.
  • Experience working in a Medical Clinic or Medical Group.
