Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to sterile technique and infection control protocols.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology.
- Two or more years of experience in a surgical setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Certification by a hospital-approved certifying entity, such as the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
