Operating Room Nurse

Join the Putnam Hospital Center team as a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art operating rooms. As a Per Diem RN, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts and work at your own pace.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Putnam Hospital Center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
* Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
**Requirements:**
* Graduate from an accredited nursing program
* Current RN licensure in the state of New York
* One or more years of professional nursing experience desirable
* Previous experience in operating room, circulating, and scrubbing
**Work Environment:**
* Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals
* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
* Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
