EMT Professional

Samaritan Care, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EMT Basic to join our team. As an EMT Basic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a professional and caring manner.

• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean appearance and demonstrate courteous, professional, and ethical behavior
• Continually improve and upgrade skills and knowledge of the emergency medical profession
• Render competent patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings
• Comply with all applicable protocols for emergency treatment and transportation
• Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
• Communicate patient information to other healthcare professionals
• Document information accurately and completely

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of EMT Basic/Intermediate program and acceptance for licensure in the state of employment
• One year related experience preferred
• Maintain current Valid Driver's License
• Maintain current and valid EMT Basic/Intermediate Certification
• Maintain current CPR (Health Care Provider minimum) certification

The EMT Basic will be required to sit and stand for extended periods, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carry. Frequently lifting and/or moving more than 125 pounds, including lifting, moving, and carrying patients up and down stairs.
