Job Title: Admissions Counselor

About the Role:

Berry College is seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Counselor to join our innovative team of professionals. As an Admissions Counselor, you will represent the College to individuals and groups on and off campus, fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the College at recruitment events, information sessions, and individual meetings with prospective students and families.
  • Assemble and analyze data to achieve recruitment goals for assigned market regions.
  • Collaborate with the Admission Team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build relationships with high school counselors, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the College's mission.
  • Participate in outreach efforts through various channels, including on-campus and off-campus events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Passion for helping others
  • Understanding of the value of a liberal arts education
  • Desire to build and interact with the community
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to troubleshoot and problem-solve
  • Openness to feedback and coaching
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on a team to solve complex data challenges
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
