Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Sexual Assault Examiner at Freeman Health System. As a SANE Nurse, you will provide compassionate and timely care to victims of sexual assault, conducting forensic exams, disease prophylaxis, and referrals for medical and psychological follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and sensitive forensic exams for victims of sexual assault
  • Administer disease prophylaxis and provide referrals for medical and psychological follow-up
  • Participate in legal proceedings and provide support to victims
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines for SANE care
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days
  • Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or compact state license
  • Successful completion of a SANE education program meeting IAFN guidelines
