- Operate tractor-trailer: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload freight: Load and unload freight as required by customers, ensuring that all goods are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate records: Maintain accurate records of trips, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during transport.
- Comply with regulations: Comply with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- CDL Class A license: Possess a valid CDL Class A license.
- Experience: Have at least 9 months of experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a truck driver.
- Physical demands: Be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Communication skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
