Job Summary
5th HQ is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to create and manage purchase orders, follow up on pending orders, and evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with purchase order terms and conditions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of purchasing experience, a Bachelor's degree in Administration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Key responsibilities include cost analysis, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders for materials required by the Company.
  • Follow up on a daily basis with pending orders using various computer tracking systems.
  • Evaluate and monitor contracts, delivery, and invoices to ensure goods, services, and delivery schedules comply with purchase order terms and conditions.
  • Perform cost analysis and negotiation to optimize costs without compromising quality.
  • Expedites deliveries as necessary to maximize customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
  • Forecast purchasing needs.
  • Manage supplier scorecard and coordinate supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead bidding processes to review market prices and ensure company prices are the best negotiated prices.
  • Lead supplier relationship management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
  • Work closely with planning and operations team to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with business stakeholders to solve operational issues and problems related to Purchase.
  • Participate in further improvement, optimization, and implementation of changes as required for team process improvements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish.
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Effective verbal, written, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude to highlight and address issues as they arise.
  • Teamwork-oriented.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
