Patient Access Made Easy
Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Access Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient access to healthcare services, including scheduling appointments and communicating with patients and providers.

You will work closely with patients and providers to gather necessary information, including demographic and insurance details. You will also be responsible for reviewing electronic communications and process documentation to stay up-to-date on department processes and notifying leadership immediately if you have any questions.

As a Healthcare Access Specialist, you will provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers, representing Nemours in a positive and professional manner. You will also be responsible for identifying and attempting to resolve complaints, and utilizing escalation guidelines to route callers to the appropriate Nemours associate when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and more than one year of customer service, medical office, or call center experience. NAHAM certification (CHAA preferred) is also a plus.
