We're seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Manager to join our team in southern California. As a key member of our staff, you'll play a vital role in safely managing core spine strengthening for each patient and delivering the highest quality rehabilitative care.

Your primary focus will be on day-to-day patient care, ensuring seamless delivery of services and quality patient outcomes within our multidisciplinary team. You'll work closely with our orthopedic surgeon team to deepen your knowledge of musculoskeletal treatment and participate in research studies with leading academic institutions.

In this rewarding role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills through training from our mindfulness, nutrition, and behavioral health counselors. You'll also contribute to the growth and success of SpineZone by sharing your expertise and collaborating with our clinical director.

">Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct oversight of all clinical teammates to ensure high-quality patient care services
  • Perform direct patient care, including evaluation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical problems
  • Plan, design, implement, and interpret specific physical therapy treatment programs
  • Maintain standardized clinical protocols and processes around SpineZone's program
  • Perform MedEx or DAVID equipment testing effectively and communicate instructions to patients
  • Address clinical-related concerns directly and timely to PTA
  • Work closely with the medical director and referring providers to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care
  • Complete encounter note information for each patient visit using the EHR Portal System
  • Ensure clinical documents are sent out timely to referring practitioners (e.g., Initial Eval, Progress Note, D/C summary)
  • Assist Maintenance Program patients as needed
  • Maintain a clean workout area and overall clinic cleanliness and organization
  • Strive to achieve all Clinical KPI benchmarks and maintain productivity at a minimum of 85%
  • Participate in bi-weekly webinars and live meetings
  • Ensure Portal dashboards are maintained adequately with timely follow-up
  • Ensure all billing is completed daily in Athena
  • Schedule/reschedule appointments; retrieving messages and ensuring proper messages are relayed
  • Collection of copays and other fees required prior to the office visit or treatment
  • Follows all HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Provide outstanding customer service skills and engage well with patients
  • All other related duties assigned

Requirements:

You must be licensed in the state of California.
