About the Job:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and lead educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff on topics related to pediatric intensive care.
Requirements:
  • RN licensure and current certification in pediatrics or pediatric intensive care.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care, preferably in a travel nursing setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software applications.
