Diesel Mechanic Supervisor

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $32 per hour, plus a $10,000 retention bonus and annual tool allowance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance, starting day one.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the fleet road equipment, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This includes performing road rescue, preventative maintenance, and maintaining precise documentation of repairs and parts used. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial diesel mechanics, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance within company standards
• Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM list, and parts accountability
• Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines
Requirements:
• Must have 3 years of commercial Diesel mechanic or reefer experience
• Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication skills: able to communicate with co-workers and drivers with demonstrated teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Computer and software experience
