Job Overview

Position: Maintenance / Grounds Technician

Nivea Hospitality is looking for a talented and experienced Maintenance / Grounds Technician to join our committed team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective operation and upkeep of our facilities while adhering to all brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, HVAC system upkeep, and general building repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and facilities to detect any issues or potential concerns.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, including litter collection, weed removal, and general upkeep.
  • Manage inventory and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and brand standards.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to hotel guests, staff, and management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in facilities management or a hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Timely completion of all maintenance requests.
  • Carpet cleaning experience as needed.
  • Basic electrical skills are advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with effective communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to oversee others.
