Position Overview:
The Settlements Analyst position serves as a vital link between our Marketing and Accounting departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor contract allocations and performance metrics.
- Ensure accurate invoicing for customers.
- Complete month-end reconciliations and communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and demonstrate strong customer service capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a robust work ethic, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail is crucial.
Essential Duties:
- Input and verify all movement data into Right Angle for invoice generation.
- Confirm transaction valuations and address any discrepancies.
- Execute timely billing processes for external clients.
- Maintain and update pricing information in Right Angle.
- Resolve billing disputes and manage unexpected fees.
- Monitor inboxes for inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide customer service support to both internal teams and external clients.
- Conduct various month-end processes and reconciliations.
- Review data for monthly Profit & Loss statements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive coverage of responsibilities.
- Communicate proactively with customers, marketers, schedulers, and the cash management team.
- Perform effectively in high-pressure market conditions.
- Take initiative to resolve issues independently.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in Analyst responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Candidates should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Experience with Openlink Right Angle is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
The work environment typically involves standard office conditions. Candidates should be prepared for occasional overnight travel and visits to industrial settings, which may involve exposure to various materials and conditions requiring appropriate safety measures.
