About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Planned Parenthood of Central & Western New York. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately record patient data in the electronic health record, including obstetric, gynecologic, contraceptive, medical, surgical, family health, and psycho-social backgrounds.
  • Perform routine vital signs and other necessary assessments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients on reproductive health, wellness, and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a reproductive health or women's health specialty.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
