Job Summary

As a Chick Delivery Driver at Mountaire Farms, you will be responsible for safely transporting newly hatched chicks to designated broiler farms. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver newly hatched chicks to designated broiler farms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Follow all federal and state regulations related to commercial motor vehicle safety.
  • Assist with loading and unloading chicks from the hatchery to the farm.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience driving a commercial motor vehicle with a Class A CDL.
  • Valid Class A CDL license.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
