Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Aureus Medical Group - Cardiopulmonary is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Hilo, Hawaii.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in a 275-bed level III trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-Respiratory Therapist-Hawaii, ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support), NBRC-CRT (Cert Respiratory Therapist), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Prog/NALS)
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs
