Healthcare Liaison

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinic Patient Representative Senior to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, facilitating effective communication and care coordination.
• Assist with various duties within the clinic, including scheduling, insurance verification, and referrals.
• Collect payments and prepare cash for deposits, maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
• Knowledge of managed care a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate a 10-key calculator, telephone, computer, copier, and fax machine.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three or more years of experience in a healthcare organization.
• ICD9 and CPT coding skills a plus.
• Experience with charge posting or collections a plus.
