We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Houston Methodist. As a Registered Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to develop and implement effective care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited nursing program.
- Twelve months of registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
- Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license, with permanent license obtained within 90 days.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Other credentials and certifications as defined by unit/service line.
