About the Job

We are looking for an experienced RN with a passion for delivering exceptional healthcare services. As a Med Surg RN at Atrium Health Charlotte, you will be responsible for providing individualized patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is also required. Previous experience in Med Surg or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, participating in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of North Carolina
  • BSN degree or equivalent education
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • At least 1 year of experience in Med Surg or a related field
