Job Overview

I. Position Summary:

The Industrial Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency by swiftly diagnosing issues and implementing a top-tier preventative maintenance strategy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a robust work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role involves utilizing the company's ERP system to establish, oversee, and sustain the maintenance schedule for injection molding machinery and associated equipment.

II. Key Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance roles, including but not limited to Aviation, Automotive Service, HVAC, or Facility Maintenance.
  • Preferred: Technical certification or an associate degree in a relevant industrial discipline.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Preferred: Experience in supervisory roles or scheduling.

III. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance on plastic injection molding machinery.
  • Repair auxiliary equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility machinery as necessary.
  • Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate machinery while maintaining industrial control systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and safe repairs.
  • Oversee facility and building maintenance tasks.
  • Generate repair reports at the end of each shift, documenting parts and material usage.
  • Adhere to plant safety protocols, including safe lifting practices and equipment operation. Personal Protective Equipment must be utilized as required.
  • Installation of new machinery and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Basic machining skills and sourcing of parts to minimize downtime.

IV. Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and random drug testing.
  • Required to sign a confidentiality and non-compete agreement.
  • Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift, with visual and auditory capabilities in an industrial environment.
  • US Citizenship is mandatory, with fluency in English for reading and writing.
  • Physically capable of bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • A valid driver's license is required; occasional travel may be necessary.

Compensation:

$25 - $35 per hour
