Job Overview

Position: Quality Control Specialist

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our products. Your responsibilities will include adhering to industry standards and regulations, with a strong emphasis on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Compensation: $20-$24 per hour

Shift: Swing shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing tests for bacterial, yeast, and mold presence
  • Overseeing sanitation and production processes
  • Recording and reporting quality metrics
  • Supporting audits and inspections

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the food or beverage production sector
  • Meticulous attention to detail and compliance with GMP and SOP
  • Proficient in English; Spanish/Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Preferred educational background in Food or Dairy Science or a related field
  • Technical expertise in quality assurance methodologies is advantageous
  • Capability to measure and convert various units of volume and weight
  • Comfortable with technology, particularly iPhone/iPad, and eager to enhance technical skills
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
