We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Transplant Unit at Highmark Inc. as a key member of our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of effective care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current PA licensure as a RN or Temporary Practice Permit.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum 1 (one) year recent nursing experience.
- Certification in area of specialty.
