Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in our respiratory department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care
  • Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina
  • 2 years critical care experience for free-standing Emergency Department and Virtual Critical Care
  • BLS certification required
