We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Mercy Hospital Washington. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients, in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
