Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Principal Architect to join our Architecture and Urbanism division. This role will report directly to the Business Unit Director and will play a pivotal role in expanding our practices in Education, Living, Retail, and Placemaking, aligning with our strategic objectives and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance metrics of the team, ensuring high service quality and profitable growth.
- Inspire and develop a diverse team of senior specialists through effective recruitment, objective setting, and performance reviews.
- Formulate and communicate the business plan, fostering a culture that aligns with our strategic goals.
- Identify and engage potential clients, driving organic revenue growth through exceptional service delivery.
- Build and nurture strong relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Mentor studio and service managers to guarantee project success and adherence to governance standards.
- Direct talent identification and promote career development within the team.
- Manage resource allocation to optimize team structure and efficiency.
- Assess and mitigate risks in service delivery, ensuring compliance with governance processes.
- Stay informed about market trends and client needs to identify emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate across IBI Group to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
- Implement the strategic vision of the Architecture and Urbanism division.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or advanced qualification in a relevant field.
- Registration as an Architect or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 18 years of experience in architecture, including over 10 years in a consultancy environment.
- Proven experience in leading complex business transformation initiatives.
- Strong executive-level relationship management skills.
- Experience managing teams across different geographical locations.
- A track record of working on large-scale, complex projects.
