We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay. As a CV Surgery PA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessments to determine the best course of treatment.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers.
- Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and care to promote overall health and wellness.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Physician Assistant certification from the Florida Physician Assistants.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 1 year of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery or a related field.
