Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled A/R Billing Specialist to join our team at InSearch Recruiting and Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process for government contracts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bill out projects to government agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Set up sales and purchase orders for recurring billing needs.
  • Receive, review, deposit, and apply customer payments to sales invoices.
  • Assess payment status and contact customers for payment inquiries and corrections.
  • Follow up with operations on open sales order status issues.
  • Provide positive customer experience through written and verbal communication.
  • Support the AP department with occasional invoice receipt, vouchering, and payment processing needs.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality pertaining to sensitive materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of billing experience required.
  • Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of billing based upon parameters of government contracts a plus.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong supervisory experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
