Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Stepdown position is essential for delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized cardiac unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of patients recovering from cardiac procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide direct clinical care to patients, focusing on assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.
- Supervision: Oversee nursing staff and delegate appropriate tasks to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer to maintain high standards of nursing practice and patient safety.
- Communication: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to advocate for patients and serve as a role model within the nursing profession.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: A bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
- Licensure: Current RN license and CPR certification required.
