Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe and age-appropriate classroom atmosphere.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and assist with developmental checklists.
  • Collaborate with the childcare Manager and Lead Teacher to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and Lead Teachers as needed.
  • Complete assigned work within scheduled time frames and participate in departmental committees and professional development opportunities.
  • Attend staff meetings and complete required competencies and mandatory education as assigned.
  • Seek training and certification opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Post-High School Special Training in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and completion of 30 hours of childcare facility part 1 and 20 hours of childcare facility part 2 training.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
