Key Responsibilities of the Laboratory Support Technician include:
- Maintain cleanliness of various laboratory materials; perform hand-washing as necessary.
- Operate and manage sterilization instruments.
- Document and track the usage of laboratory equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance and installation of diverse laboratory apparatus.
- Support the assembly of equipment, including buffer solutions and tubing sets.
- Safely dispose of biohazardous waste and recyclable materials.
- Conduct inventory assessments for laboratory supplies.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of materials and equipment.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma.
- 1-5 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
- Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology.
- Contractor Rate Range:
- $18-22/hr based on experience.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Includes Cigna Medical/Dental/Vision and 401K through ADP.
