Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $2294.00-$2438.00 per week, with an additional non-taxable stipend of approximately $1358.00 per week. The total tax-free stipend amount will be determined based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

About the Job

This ICU travel nursing job requires direct patient care, including administration of oncologic and non-oncologic medications, blood products, and supportive care treatments. As an outpatient IV therapy nurse, you will work collaboratively with the patient's care team to evaluate each patient's appropriateness for treatment and provide urgent/emergent medical care when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' appropriateness for treatment and provide direct patient care as ordered.
  • Administer oncologic and non-oncologic medications, including high-risk and/or hazardous compounds (if credentialed).
  • Administer blood products and other supportive care treatments.
  • Provide urgent/emergent medical care to patients experiencing a medical emergency.
Requirements
  • RN License to practice in the state of Maine.
  • Peripheral IV skills, central line care, medication administration, and blood transfusions.
  • Preferred but not required: ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card.
