Medical Support Professional

At Williamson Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to provide top-notch patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
This LPN position plays a crucial role in providing clinical support to our patients, including administering immunizations, conducting vital sign assessments, and coordinating referrals to other medical services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer immunizations and injections as necessary
- Counsel patients on health-related issues and provide education on disease prevention and management
- Assist physicians with medical procedures and ensure accurate documentation of patient records
- Triaging phone calls and addressing patient portal messages in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain quality assurance standards for office lab testing and implement proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current State of Tennessee nursing license
- One year of experience in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in using various medical equipment, including glucometers, BP cuffs, and stethoscopes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
