About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and defined by ANA, ENA, BSBHS, and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise plan of care based on physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs of the patient/family.
- Assess patient for changes that may hinder recovery and collaborate with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to provide quality care delivery.
- Maintain clinical knowledge and skills competency to facilitate patient care in accordance with current standards of practice.
- Provide for a safe patient care environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State, if resident of that state.
- Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience specific to Emergency Services or 3-5 years of other acute care experience preferred.
- BLS required.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing Preferred.
- Completes orientation according to policy/procedures.
