Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Diley Ridge Medical Center. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults. This includes administering oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
  • Current Ohio Respiratory Professional License.
  • Current National Board Respiratory Credential.
  • ACLS certification within one year of hire.
  • PALS certification preferred.
