About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our exceptional ambulance team. As a key member of our team, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours a day, providing direct patient care according to your competencies and protocols.

You will work closely with dispatchers, EMS crews, first responders, and other outside agencies, following all departmental, local, and state driving rules. Your professionalism and excellent customer service skills will be essential in interacting with patients, victims, and the general public.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing direct patient care according to your competencies and protocols.
  • Drive emergency vehicles in various road conditions, following GPS, map books, and written or verbal directions.
  • Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports, billing information, and documentation in a timely manner.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to maintain vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness, completing daily vehicle and supply checklists, and assisting with vehicle re-supply and decontamination.

Requirements
  • Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Texas.
  • CPR certification and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently.
