We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Brothers Landscaping Inc. In this role, you will assist in various landscaping and construction tasks, including planting, grading, and installing hardscape features.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products.
- Assist in various landscaping and construction tasks such as planting, mulching, sodding, and grading.
- Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment, including but not limited to, lawn mowers, trimmers, and excavators.
- Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures as required.
- Perform other manual labor tasks as directed by the foreman or supervisor.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to operate power tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
- Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred, but not required.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
