The Logistics Coordinator for Material Handling plays a crucial role in the efficient transportation of supplies and equipment across various departments within the healthcare facility.
Work Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday (5:00AM – 1:30PM)
Holidays - Responsible for 3/4 holidays annually
PTO - Rotating coverage for paid time off
On Call - Weekend on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently transports supplies, inventory, and equipment using a cart from Materials Management to various departments throughout the facility. Maintains accurate records and documentation.
- Utilizes a handheld device to log delivery orders for hospital par rooms and to place orders for necessary items on designated floors.
- Assists in unloading pallets manually and organizes packages for appropriate delivery routes.
- Conducts daily cleaning tasks as per departmental guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
- Ability to comprehend general written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a courteous and clear manner.
Experience:
Previous experience is preferred.
