Job Summary

The Sales Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Palm Beach Boutique with all aspects of sales, including client service and administrative elements related to selling and non-selling. This position requires a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, peers, and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support primary Wardrobe Specialist with sales by securing necessary merchandise, placing merchandise back in designated areas on the sales floor, and replenishing sold merchandise.
  • Consistently demonstrate relationship selling skills to support primary Wardrobe Specialist in achieving and exceeding planned daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by Store Management.
  • Demonstrate high levels of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with clients, peers, and management team.
  • Complete alteration and blocking processes in accordance with Company standards, including paperwork, follow-up, and receiving altered merchandise into the store.
  • Support and assist clients in the primary Wardrobe Specialist's absence if needed.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge, staying updated on new products, marketplace, and fashion trends.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable in all aspects of primary Wardrobe Specialist's top clientele to provide excellent and personalized customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining primary Wardrobe Specialist's client book to standard and generate sales using the client book through appointments and daily correspondence with clients.
  • Send Company-initiated mailings for primary Wardrobe Specialist's clients, including catalogs, invitations, and sale cards as needed.
  • Log COGs for primary Wardrobe Specialist each month for corporate reports.
  • Understand and perform all POS functions accurately, professionally, and within Company guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of store physical inventories and actively participate in resolving inventory discrepancies as needed.
  • Actively contribute to non-selling activities, including primary Wardrobe Specialist go-backs, clean-up, compliance, and other tasks.
  • Demonstrate high levels of quality in work, attendance, and appearance.
  • Actively participate in monthly touch bases and follow-ups.
  • Attend all required store meetings and events as needed.
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization.

  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures and safety regulations.

  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Ability to work varied hours, nights, days, and weekends to support business needs.
