In MRG Exams, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a key member of our team, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran. Your findings will be documented electronically through the web portal. Importantly, this role does not involve making disability determinations; those decisions are made by the United States Veterans Administration.
Our ideal candidate is interested in performing independent medical assessments and has excellent analytical skills to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. Time management is crucial, as you will need to stay on task and meet requirements. A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license is mandatory. Proficiency in computer use is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day.
- Review medical records electronically through a web portal.
- Conduct in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
- Document exam findings electronically through the web portal.
