$85,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time experienced school-based speech-language pathologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide evaluations and direct therapy for the pediatric population 4 days a week in school-based settings and possibly one day in our private practice.
The duties of this position include:
- Evaluations and assessments of children's communication skills
- Development of individualized treatment plans
- Delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Coding for insurance billing purposes and report writing
This role requires a strong understanding of child development, pediatrics, and education. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality services to our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- A Master's degree from an accredited speech therapy program
- NJ State License, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), NJ School Certificate (SLS), and Criminal History Review (CHR)
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a pediatric private practice or school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for children with delays or disorders
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
