We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in critical care nursing.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Specialty Area: ICU
- Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 (MedSurg ICU); if no vents/drips 1:3
- Common Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac conditions, including open heart surgery, balloon interventions, and post-tPA management; Level 3 trauma cases
- Essential Skills: Experience with ventilation, sedation, sepsis management, pressors, DKA, cardiac care, CHF, and respiratory management
- EPIC Experience: Required
- Submission Profile: Detailed resume including duties, hospital size, unit size, and any employment gaps
- Active License: Must possess an active and in-hand RN license (AZ or Compact)
- Drip Management: Ability to titrate drips
- Critical Care Experience: Well-rounded experience with various ICU drips
- Orientation: One day of NEO, one day with educator for skills and competencies, and one day on the floor
- Shifts: 6:45-7:15 with a grace period for clocking in and out; must clock out for lunch
- Self-Scheduling: 4 requested days off within a 4-week period
- Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period
- Holiday Requirements: 2 major holidays, only the holiday itself
- Floating Requirements: Yes, with a reduction to 4 patients when floating
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Radius Rule: 100 miles
- Resume Requirements: Ensure accuracy in certifications and licensing in the submission profile
