Position Overview
Hamdan Resources, LLC is in search of a Cybersecurity Assessment Manager to become a vital part of our Special Purpose Team (SPT). The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting security assessments and vulnerability evaluations as directed by leadership, while also spearheading initiatives to document and monitor identified vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation efforts, and delegating tasks to system administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive internal and external security assessments of network systems and applications.
  • Engage in Red Team operations, encompassing physical security, social engineering tactics, and network exploitation techniques.
  • Execute controlled vulnerability exploitation and security assessments on software applications, network protocols, and database systems.
  • Exhibit a profound understanding of organizational processes, risk management, IT governance, and relevant compliance standards.
  • Effectively convey findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including both technical teams and executive management.
  • Identify and assess intricate business and technological risks, internal controls that mitigate these risks, and opportunities for enhancing internal control frameworks.
  • Participate in regular collaborative security exercises and conduct adversarial simulations to evaluate defense mechanisms.
  • Assist in defining the scope of potential engagements, leading projects from initiation through to remediation.
  • Collaborate closely with the defensive security team to assess the effectiveness of current alerts and contribute to the development of new detection capabilities.
  • Prepare detailed findings reports and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the team's operational toolkit.
  • Develop custom scripts to automate processes related to identifying new vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain and refine the operational playbook to continuously improve the organization's security assessment methodologies and threat modeling practices.
  • Willingness to travel for testing of IoT physical and mobile devices as required.
Security Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret clearance.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Security Assessments, Red Team operations, and collaborative security exercises.
  • Advanced proficiency with common security assessment tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Empire, KALI Linux).
  • Demonstrated understanding of voice and data communication networks, major operating systems, Active Directory, and cloud computing technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the ability to implement and connect Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Ability to critically analyze an organization and its systems from a threat actor's perspective and articulate risks in clear, precise terms.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Rust, C, C++, Golang).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CRTO, OSCP, or other relevant credentials.
